About Fuelfacts
Fuelfacts is a small independent site that turns the US government's fuel economy file into pages you can use: a page per vehicle model, rankings by class, powertrain and make, and side-by-side comparisons.
Every number on the site is computed from the public EPA and DOE data by the same script each time the site is built; nothing is typed in by hand. The methods page lists each step, including what was left out and why.
The site covers fuel economy, fuel cost and tailpipe CO2 only. It has no prices of vehicles, no reviews and no buying advice, because the source data has none.
There are no invented authors, reviews or ratings on this site. If something on a page is wrong, tell us and it is fixed.
